Urban ASAK’s 15-point comeback not enough to take down Houston Defenders

March 24, 2018

After trailing by as many as 15 points, Urban ASAK closed the gap to just four late in the second half but ultimately came up short, losing to the Under Armor Houston Defenders 61-55.

Ja’Quai Najamo had a big game down low, leading ASAK with 12 points, seven rebounds and one block. Darius McBride added 10 points and two rebounds, while Braelon Seals chipped in eight points.

In his first start as point guard for the Urban ASAK 17U team, Jamal Shead scored nine points, brought down four rebounds and dished out two assists while disrupting Houston with aggressive defense.

Next up, Urban ASAK will play adidas Team Harden. We’ll update this story with highlights later this evening.
